Today we went on a pre drywall tour with the PM. Everything is coming along beautifully. While we were there, the gypsum boards were being delivered to the house via a crane and the second story window. That was exciting in and of itself. The house was also being insulated while we walked around. If this house proves to be as energy efficient as the planning implies, I will be a very happy camper. Energy-star 3.0 has the insulation up to R-20 and we have a new house wrap that's supposed to keep the heat/cold in the house even better.
Right now, we are looking at a February 19, 2013 settlement date which is pretty much on schedule from the initial pre-construction meeting. Wow, this is really happening...we better start packing.
